About Us
Holy Mary Mother of Mercy Foundation is a Catholic, faith-based charity organization committed to bringing hope, compassion, and support to the most vulnerable in society. Inspired by the love and mercy of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we serve the poor, the less privileged, orphans, widows, and those in desperate need of care and comfort — both physically and spiritually.
We also support those who feel called to serve God, such as seminarians and young people pursuing vocations, who lack the resources to fulfill their calling. Through acts of love and mercy, we are building a world where no one is left behind.

- This foundation was founded by Austine Chibuzo Onyeoziri, a Catholic seminarian originally from Aboh Mbaise, Imo State, Nigeria, currently living and studying in Ireland. Born from a personal journey marked by hardship, faith, and divine mercy, the foundation reflects a calling to give back and uplift others through charity and compassion.
- Though the vision began with Austine’s own life story and personal sacrifice, the mission has grown stronger with the support of two committed co-founders:
- Chief Patrick Nnaemeka Anughere (Akuchukwu 1 of Ukpor), from Anambra State, Nigeria
- Mr. Darlington Onyeoziri, from Imo State, Nigeria, currently based in Germany
- Together, they share a common desire — to be instruments of God’s mercy in the lives of those who suffer.
